The Project

When approached by the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce about rebranding and re-inventing their storied Rooster Days Festival - the longest-running festival in the state - we shook our collective tail feathers and got right to work.

The first order of business was to create a fresh new brand that crowed with excitement, and one that would be on par with larger statewide festivals. Enter one Rosco T. Rooster - our beloved new mascot for the event which was a crowd favorite with the young and old alike.

From there, we developed an integrated marketing campaign that would surprise and delight Rooster Day fans, and engage new prospective Rooster Day-goers outside of the City of Broken Arrow.

Campaign deliverables included billboards, print ads, a 5K run and festival t-shirt (which sold out), signage, paid search and a social media campaign that generated a tremendous amount of activity and thousands of passionate Facebook fans within just a few weeks.

The result was definitely worth crowing about. The Broken Arrow Chamber enjoyed its most successful Rooster Days in the event’s 81-year-old history, including some of the largest crowds and the most “Mega-Ride” passes sold. The bar has been set, and we’re eager to see how high Rosco and company can fly in 2013. Stay tuned.
